I was honoured to provide the photography for this lovely small and intimate wedding at Eckington Manor, in Worcestershire. Roisin and Johnny didn’t feel like a big wedding and the stress that sometimes comes with a larger guest list, was very them. So they chose to keep their wedding small and intimate, with just fifteen of their closest family and friends.

There’s something really lovely about a smaller wedding, they’re always really relaxed and give you time to chat to all of your guests, plus, they don’t come with such a hefty price tag, so you can go all out on the food, as you’re catering for less people.

The impact of the pandemic and government restrictions has made smaller weddings or micro weddings as they’re becoming known, more popular than ever and I’m now accepting bookings where you can book me for a shorter number of hours. Packages for small and intimate wedding photography start at £500 for two hours coverage. You’ll have plenty of time for photos at your ceremony, some relaxed photos with your family afterwards and some couple photos of the two of you. You can add extra hours on top if you’d like to allow a little more time for your couple shoot.

The Ceremony

The ceremony room at Eckington Manor, is a lovely light filled building, that is a dream to photograph in. Even if the weather isn’t playing ball on your wedding day. Your photos will still be light and bright in this lovely space. Roisin & Johnny’s ceremony was full of laughter and happy tears!

Wedding Photos at Eckington Manor

Everything at Eckington Manor is close by. I loved this small gravelled garden area, just to the side of the Manor House. It was planted with pretty borders and was a lovely spot for some couple portraits. We also had a little wander in front of the cookery school, while the guests enjoyed some canapés. I like to keep couple portraits really relaxed, so bring your drinks and just take 10-15 minutes to spend some time together.
