Iscoyd Park Wedding with Church Ceremony

An Iscoyd Park wedding with a Church ceremony, at St. Mary’s in Whitewell, is always a great perfect combination for a fabulous wedding! Add Blue skies and plenty of sunshine and everyone’s happy.

Lauren & Dale’s wedding day started with the girls getting ready in the bridal suite. Vicky M Hair was on hair duties and and make up was being expertly applied by Jessica Mair The Bridesmaids looked beautiful in their blush pink wrap dresses These were complimented by bouquets of white and pink David Austin Roses. Lauren’s dress was a stunning fishtail design by Pronovias, with lace detailing. Dale and his Best Men, were also getting ready at the venue, so it was easy for me to nip between the two rooms and get photos of everyone getting ready.

Church Wedding Ceremony at St Mary’s Whitewell

If you’re thinking of having an Iscoyd Park wedding and would prefer a traditional church ceremony to a civil ceremony, St Mary’s is just five minutes away. It’s one of the prettiest churches in Shropshire! In fact, it’s one of the prettiest churches I’ve ever photographed at with the loveliest lady Vicar and vergers, who always makes everyone feel really welcome (including me).

The Drinks Reception

After some serious confetti throwing, we all headed back to Iscoyd Park for a drinks reception in the sunshine. While the guests were being served a welcome drink in the garden, I photographed Lauren and Dale with their Wedding Party and closest family.

There are so many lovely spots at Iscoyd Park for photos, a particular favourite of mine, if it’s really sunny is under the large tree on at the front of the house, as open shade, gives lovely soft lighting and keeps everyone cool in the afternoon sun. I like to get the group photos done quickly, so that you can get back to your guests and enjoy as much of your drinks reception as possible. By keeping your family/group photos to around seven or eight photos you’ll be back sipping champagne in around 20 minutes.

Documentary Style Wedding Photography

During the drinks reception I like to photograph your guests in a documentary style. This simply means I photograph things as they’re happening. So you’ll get some lovely candid photos of people enjoying themselves.
